Coastal air, wide views and a completely different set of smells can make a seafront outing really enriching. Beach and promenade walks are used only when conditions and current dog restrictions make them suitable.

Quieter local roads, green spaces and residential walking routes are useful for dogs who prefer a calmer outing away from the busiest seafront areas.
